Rob Hocking
Executive Vice President, Global Head of Derivatives, Cboe
Robert Hocking is Executive Vice President and Global Head of Derivatives at Cboe Global Markets (Cboe), based in Chicago. In this role, he leads the strategic direction and growth of Cboe’s global derivatives franchise, overseeing a broad portfolio that includes U.S. and European options and futures markets, as well as Cboe’s flagship proprietary products such as S&P 500 Index options and the VIX volatility franchise.
Hocking also oversees several key initiatives that support Cboe’s leadership in derivatives innovation and education, including The Options Institute (Cboe’s educational arm), Market Intelligence (Cboe’s derivatives research and analytics team), and Cboe Labs, the firm’s hub for product innovation and development.
Prior to joining Cboe, Hocking held several senior leadership roles across the financial services industry. He served as Special Advisor to the Chairman at The Options Clearing Corporation and as Global Head of Equity Volatility Trading at DRW Trading in Chicago. Earlier in his career, he held key positions at Goldman Sachs as Vice President of Index Trading and at Hull Trading, where he specialized in index derivatives market making. Over the course of more than 18 years, Hocking was a member and trading permit holder (TPH) at Cboe Options Exchange, where he played an active role on the Product Development Committee.
Hocking holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Outside of work, he is an avid cyclist, as well as a youth basketball and baseball coach.

Rob Creamer is President, CEO, and Managing Partner of Geneva Trading, a global principal trading firm headquartered in Chicago with offices in Dublin and London. He began his career in the early 1990s as an entrepreneur and investor, pioneering businesses in multiplayer gaming, digital advertising, and online media. He holds several patents in video game technologies, digital imaging, and data visualization. This entrepreneurial foundation in technology and innovation has shaped his leadership at Geneva, where he has built a culture that thrives on developing new business opportunities and advancing proprietary trading technologies. Since joining Geneva in 2001, Rob has served in senior leadership roles and became President and CEO in 2010. Stacey Gilbert is Sr. Director of The Options Institute, the educational arm of Cboe Global Markets. Prior to joining Cboe, Ms. Gilbert spent six year at Glenmede Investment Management (GIM) where she was the Chief Investment Officer of GIM and co-portfolio manager of Derivatives. She oversaw portfolio management, research and trading operations and helped shape investment strategy and implementation. Prior to joining Glenmede, Ms. Gilbert served as the Head of Derivative Strategy at Susquehanna Financial Group. In this role, she led the team responsible for providing market commentary, actionable ideas and trading strategies driven by things like catalyst events, breaking news and sector analysis. During her more than two decades at Susquehanna, she held several leadership positions — including key senior positions on the trading desk and at the American Stock Exchange, trading both options and ETFs. Ms. Gilbert also led the company’s Education department. Stacey earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics and a minor in economics from Dartmouth College.

Previously, he served as Senior Managing Director, Global Head of Financial and OTC Products since June 2023 and as Senior Managing Director, Global Head of Equity and Foreign Exchange Products since February 2022. He serves on the CME Ventures Investment Committee and the S&P Dow Jones Indices U.S. Advisory Panel.
Before joining CME Group in 2013 as Global Head of Equity Products, McCourt worked for the Royal Bank of Scotland, where he was responsible for building and managing the Americas Index and Delta One trading book. Prior to RBS, he held a senior trading role with JPMorgan in New York, spending 10 years with the Equity Derivatives Group.
