A few things will make your first HOOD Summit a lot smoother:

• Make sure your Robinhood app is up to date–some reveals and demos will be interactive.

• Set up your Braindate profile when you receive the link (sent closer to the event) so you can start booking conversations in advance.

• Review the schedule and flag the sessions you don't want to miss–programming runs across multiple stages simultaneously on Day 2.

• Book your hotel early if you haven't already–our partner hotels fill up fast and discounted rates are available for a limited time. More info can be found within the registration process.

Pack light — the bag policy is strict (see Bag Policy FAQ), but here's what we recommend:

• Your ID to pick up your HOOD Summit badge

• Your HOOD Summit badge (required for entry to all venues and the shuttle–don't leave your hotel without it)

• Comfortable shoes–you'll be on your feet and moving between spaces all day

• A light jacket or sweater–indoor spaces are heavily air-conditioned

• Your phone, fully charged–a portable charger is a good call too (we’ll also have charging stations)

Yes. This is one of the things that makes HOOD Summit unique. Vlad Tenev and other Robinhood leaders aren't just on stage; they're on the floor. The event is intentionally designed for real access: the Robinhood booth, Braindates, and the evening reception are all great opportunities to ask questions, share feedback, and have genuine conversations with the Robinhood team. It's rare, and attendees consistently say it's one of the highlights.

Most people come to their first HOOD Summit not knowing a soul–and leave with a group chat. The event is built for meeting people: Braindates match you with attendees based on shared interests, the Trading Lab and sessions naturally spark conversation, and the opening night celebration at Space Center Houston is a great icebreaker. We are offering two main ticket tiers this year–both providing full access to our marquee speakers, expanded networking opportunities, and heightened entertainment.

• Early Bird ($299): at a limited quantity, this is an exclusive invitation for past Hood Summit attendees. These will sell out quickly, so secure yours soon before they sell out.

• Standard Access ($425): Available to all eligible invitees and returning alumni who miss out on Early Bird. Your Standard ticket gives you complete access to everything Hood Summit has to offer—from keynote sessions to evening entertainment.

A limited number of complimentary tickets may be available to select invitees.

HOOD Summit 2026 is invite-only for select Robinhood customers. Each ticket holder may bring one guest, pending a screening process. See +1 FAQ (next question) for more details on the guest screening process.

Yes. Invited Robinhood customers that secure tickets may register one guest in addition to themselves–at their respective ticket/invite level (e.g. if you have an Early Bird invite, your +1 will also require an Early Bird ticket for a total of 2x Early Bird Tickets).

Guests must be at least 21+ years of age. All guests are required to complete a security screening prior to the event. Once approved, your guest will receive an email with a link to finalize their registration. 

Registered attendees are responsible for their +1 guests while onsite to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.

Yes. After all tickets are sold out, you can join the waitlist. If a ticket becomes available, we’ll notify you via email.

Policies vary depending on your ticket type:

Ticket Cancellation 

• Early Bird & Standard Tickets: Refunds for purchased tickets will be processed based on the date your written cancellation request is received:

  • Cancellations received by August 21, 2026, at 11:59 PM EST will receive a full refund of the ticket purchase price.

  • Cancellations received starting on August 22, 2026, at 12:00 AM EST are strictly non-refundable.

• Complimentary Access: you are subject to the following cancellation dates and policy:

  • Cancellations before August 21, 2026, at 11:59 PM EST, incur no fees. 
  • Cancellations after August 22, 2026, at 12:00 AM EST will incur the fees listed in your confirmation email.

No-Shows

• Guests who purchase a ticket and do not attend the event (i.e., no-shows) will not receive a refund.

Hotel Accommodations

• Standard Ticket Bookings via the registration portal: If you booked a hotel room through the HOOD Summit registration portal, your hotel cancellation must also be made by August 21, 2026, at 11:59 PM EST to receive a refund for your room.

• Booked Directly: If you booked a hotel room with a hotel directly, you are solely responsible for canceling your reservation with the hotel and are subject to their specific cancellation policies. Robinhood will not be responsible for any costs associated with outside reservations.

If you are an Early Bird ticket holder, your HOOD Summit ticket includes a complimentary room at Hilton Americas with check-in on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 and check-out on Thursday, October 1, 2026.

Early Bird ticket holders will receive an email with their hotel reservation details by the end of July, if not sooner. For questions about your upcoming reservation, please reach out to our team at events@robinhood.com.

All non-Early Bird ticket holders will receive an email with their hotel reservation details in waves based on when they registered, as reservations are confirmed with the hotels towards the end of each month.  For those who registered for HOOD Summit before July 22, you can expect to receive your hotel reservation info by July 30. For anyone who registered starting July 23, you’ll get your hotel reservation info by the end of August.

Each invited guest is able to receive 1 hotel room. Should you submit a +1 and receive an approval to bring them, your +1 is expected to share your room with you. The cost of any additional hotel rooms are at your own expense. Robinhood is not responsible for these costs.

To book a second room for your +1, we recommend reaching out to one of our partner hotels directly. Please visit the previous FAQ to view our partner hotels.

Travel to/from Houston and local transportation from the airport to your hotel are not included with your ticket.

The only transportation provided by Robinhood is the shuttle to/from the GRB Convention Center to the reception at Space Center Houston and the shuttle between our partner hotel–if you choose to stay at one– and GRB Convention Center.

Houston is serviced by two major airports: George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and William P. Hobby Airport (HOU). IAH is located about 20 miles north of downtown and HOU is located just 15 miles south of downtown.

Getting to HOOD Summit 2026 is convenient, with multiple transportation and parking options available. 

Please note that a dedicated shuttle service will be provided to and from the George R. Brown Convention Center and Space Center Houston for the post-keynote reception.

• George R. Brown Convention Center (Keynote & Day 2 Programming): The GRB is centrally located downtown at 1001 Avenida de las Americas, Houston, Texas 77010.
  • Airports: It is easily accessible from William P. Hobby Airport (HOU, ~10 miles southeast) and George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH, ~20 miles north).
  • Parking: On-site campus parking garages are available. You can view rates, maps, and directions on the GRB Parking page and Maps & Directions page. For additional public transit options, visit Getting Around Houston.
• Space Center Houston (Post-Keynote Reception):
  • We encourage attendees to use the provided shuttle service running to and from the GRB Convention Center for the post-keynote reception.
  • If you prefer to drive separately, on-site parking is available at the venue. For driving directions and parking details, please visit the Space Center Houston Visitor Information page.

Following the keynote, Robinhood will be providing shuttles from the GRB Convention Center to Space Center Houston. They’ll start running at 6:30PM CT and run until 8PM CT (or until all attendees have boarded shuttles). 

Detailed shuttle instructions, including pickup location at GBR Convention Center, will be shared as we get closer to the event. 

Be sure to wear your HOOD Summit 2026 badge at all times. You will not be allowed onto the shuttle or into Space Center Houston without your badge.

Multiple shuttles run at staggered times to and from the GRB Convention Center to/from Space Center Houston, allowing guests to arrive and leave as needed before the event ends.

The last shuttle to leave GRB to head to Space Center Houston will be at 7:45PM CT. The event at Space Center Houston will end at 10pm CST and shuttles will run until all guests have departed.

Think “comfortable casual” since you’ll be networking and on the move between stages and sessions.

For Everyone:

• Jeans, chinos, or slacks

• T-shirts, polos, button-downs, or lightweight sweaters

• Casual dresses or skirts that are stylish yet practical

• Comfortable shoes (sneakers, boots, flats—skip gym shoes)

• Optional: Lightweight jacket or blazer

What to Avoid:

• Suits and ties (too formal)

• Shorts, athleisure/gym attire, distressed clothing (too casual)

• Clubwear or nightlife attire (not appropriate)

Houston weather in late September is typically warm and humid. You can expect average daytime highs in the mid-to-upper 80s (°F) and evening lows in the upper 60s to low 70s.

While outdoor temperatures will be warm, HOOD Summit 2026 will be held indoors where spaces can be heavily air-conditioned. 

We recommend bringing a light sweater or jacket to ensure you are comfortable during the indoor programming.

Is there a bag policy?Yes. For safety, please travel light—avoid large bags or unnecessary items. All bags are subject to search, and prohibited items must be returned to your room or checked at the hotel.

Yes, service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are permitted at both venues. Please note that emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals are not permitted at either location.

• George R. Brown Convention Center (Keynote & Day 2 Programming): Service animals are permitted. They must remain with their handler at all times and be harnessed, leashed, or tethered. You can view the venue's animal and pet policy under their official GRB Venue Guidelines.

Space Center Houston (Post-Keynote Reception): Service animals are permitted in all exhibits and attractions, with the exception of motion simulator rides due to safety concerns.
