Think “polished casual”—comfortable, relaxed, and true to your personal style. This is a networking-focused event, so aim to look put-together, without feeling overly formal. The event will take place indoors. And if you really want to be in the Take Flight spirit, draw inspiration from a time when travel signaled possibility—when the style reflected curiosity, confidence, and the pleasure of going somewhere worth dressing up for.

For Everyone:

  • Jeans, chinos, or tailored slacks

  • T-shirts, polos, button-downs, or sweaters

  • Casual dresses or skirts

  • Comfortable, stylish shoes (sneakers, boots, loafers, flats)

  • Optional: A jacket or blazer to layer or elevate your look

What to Avoid:

  • Shorts, athleisure or gym wear, distressed clothing (too casual)
  • Clubwear or nightlife attire (not appropriate for the event)

The average daily temperature in New York City in March typically ranges from the mid-40s to low-50s °F, with cool days and colder evenings. The event will take place indoors. However, we recommend bringing a light jacket or layers to stay comfortable throughout the venue and when accessing the Connie Plane (the only part of the event that requires stepping outside).
